Cochrane Coffee Traders 21.1 Km Half Marathon

This is a new course for 2010 due to planned construction on George Fox Trail. The route uses more of the beautiful red shale pathway system in Cochrane and features the Bow River as the backdrop for most of the 21.1 kilometers. As a bonus it also no longer includes the big hill on George Fox Trail. This course should lead to some faster times in 2010.

• The Half Marathon will be capped at 500 participants.
• Is restricted to participants 16 years of age and over.
• Strollers are not allowed in the half marathon due to congestion. Strollers are only allowed in the 5 Km race.
• Note: The half marathon will have a four hour time limit, after which there will be no support on the race route.
• Prizes will be awarded for the top three male and female finishers overall and in seven age categories.
